Gondola Group, the company behind Byron Burgers, Pizza Express, Ask, Kettners and Zizi, has announced plans to refurbish 20-30 of its Ask restaurants a year as the 20-year old brand continues to bring its estate up to date.
The casual Italian dining brand, which has just under 120 sites across the UK, now has the capacity to grow further with the possibility of reaching 150-200 sites eventually.
Ask managing director Steve Holmes has said 'These latest restaurants are seeing huge growth and are doing phenomenally well despite the competition and economic backdrop.'
'Within the next 2-3 years we should have done the majority of the business and I think there is a real opportunity to create this beautiful, quite large Italian restaurant business that is very different to everyone else. That is our major focus,'
