The men behind Rex Restaurant Associates, Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, are to open another restaurant in Spring next year. The new restaurant in Marylebone is to be called Fischer’s and will 'be evocative of early 20th Century Vienna'.
In other news, Corbin and King are developing an Art Deco style building into a luxury, bespoke hotel in Mayfair. The hotel will have 73 bedrooms & suites; public areas include a restaurant and lobby bar/salon; a private dining/meeting room and a small spa. The hotel is due to open in 2014.
The group already operates a number of iconic London restaurants including The Wolseley, The Delaunay, Colbert and Brasserie Zedel.
