Contract catering and facilities management group OCS, has won a new catering contract with Lisburn City Council in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, for an undisclosed sum.
Running for the next six months, OCS will provide the catering for conference and events centre Lagan Valley Island, whose remit can include civic dinners, conferences, wedding receptions and banquets, as well as tea and coffee for meetings. OCS is also operating the bars for theatre performances and other events.
The company has been in charge at the venues since the beginning of last month. Once the initial six months is over, OCS will be given the chance to extend the contract for a further six months.
OCS provides services to a number of large NHS hospitals in the UK as well as workplaces and sports venues. It operates in more than 40 countries, employing more than 85,000 people.
