Carlson Rezidor plan Radisson Blu hotel in Kingston Upon Hull


The Carlson Rezidor Group, one of the worlds largest hotel groups, is to add another UK hotel to its portfolio with a 168-room Radisson Blu hotel in Kingston Upon Hull.

In a joint venture with developer Manor Property Group, the purpose built property is scheduled to open in late 2016 and will benefit from 168 guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby bar and café, a health club and 750sq m of meeting space and underground parking.

The hotel will also form part of the Manor Mill mixed-use development which will also feature a 23-floor residential tower, student homes, a 5000m² casino, and a plaza with restaurants and bars

It takes Carlson Rezidor’s UK & Ireland portfolio to 51 hotels in operation and under development.

Commenting on the announcement, Wolfgang M. Neumann, president and chief executive of Rezidor added: “The UK is a key mature market for us, and we are delighted to bring our core brand Radisson Blu to Kingston upon Hull which will be the UK’s City of Culture in 2017.”
