Plymouth City Council has approved plans from British Land for a £42m restaurant and 12-screen cinema development at Bretonside in Plymouth city centre.
Bristish Land will build a cinema complex, including an Imax cinema, which will open in 2017. The new complex will restore the links between the city centre and the Barbican and waterfront.
The scheme includes 13 restaurants and parking for 420 cars on two levels.
