Coffee shop chain launches new format with hot food

Gloucestershire-based coffee shop chain SOHO Coffee Co. has launched a new hot food range for hungry motorway customers. SOHO Coffee Co. & Grill opened last week at Roadchef Strensham on the M5 northbound.

It comes after the Cheltenham company received strong feedback about its southbound store, between junction seven and eight. Penny Manuel, director of SOHO Coffee Co, said, “We have had great customer feedback in our southbound SOHO store, praising the quality of our food. There is still very much a demand for hot food for our motorway customers. We have simply applied our ethos of quality, flavour and freshness to develop an extended hot menu especially for them.”

The new menu includes a hot breakfast with homemade tomato sauce, crispy hot fish sandwich with its own lemon and coriander mayonnaise and a kids’ range. This is served alongside the store’s locally roasted Fairtrade, organic coffee and usual range of baguettes, paninis, wraps, homemade soups and puddings.

The firm currently operates 13 outlets across the UK and 3 sites based at airports abroad.
