The London fast-casual chain, Square Pie has launched its first fundraising campaign on CrowdCube - Pie Bond - to raise £2m for expansion, with plans to reach 30 outlets within the next four years.
The gourmet pie company, which currently operates six stores, will use the funds raised to open an additional five sites next year, and for a supermarket and wholesale site.
The man behind Square Pie, Martin Dewey (pictured), started by selling pies on a market stall. The brand now supplies pies to Tesco and Ocado, and are on track to hit net sales of over £5m for the 2015 financial year.
