The London fast casual chain, Square Pie is set to launch its first site outside London tomorrow at the Grand Central shopping centre in Birmingham, with a further five sites planned in 2016.
The restaurant joins the likes of Pho, Tapas Revolution and Fuel Juice as part of the £100m regeneration scheme of the centre.
Taking the groups portfolio to 7 sites, the outlet is part of a wider expansion for the company who hopes to open a further five restaurants in 2016. In July this year it launched its first fundraising campaign on CrowdCube- Pie Bond- to raise £30m and a total of 30 sites within the next four years.
Founder Martin Dewey said, “2015 has been a big year for us so far, and we’re excited to be broadening our listings outside London. This is just part of our wider business growth plans over the next few years, as we are looking to open even more restaurants around the country, bringing our very unique high quality pies to more Brits nationwide.”
