Distinct Pubs acquires first hotel

London pub operator, Distinct Pubs has moved into the hotel sector with its acquisition of The Cromwell Hotel in the centre of Stevenage.

The venue was part of the Dragonfly Hotel portfolio - owned by Jupiter Hotels - which went on the market in July this year.

Converted from a farmhouse dating from the 16th-century, the 76-bedroom hotel is now set for a substantial refurbishment.

Distinct's gastropub estate comprises the Adam & Eve in Mill Hill Village, the Prince Albert in Camden, and the Three Compasses in Hornsey.
