The Wright Brothers has opened the doors of its fifth seafood restaurant in Circus West Village, Battersea Power Station.
Ben Wright and Robin Hancock, Wright Brothers co-owners, have launched the new venue with an open kitchen and a Josper charcoal oven, which takes centre stage and is a first for the firm. To take advantage of this new piece of hardware, the new eatery not only offers the usual seafood menu but also some meatier options.
Along with the classic dishes found at the sister sites, like oysters and shellfish platters, there’s a menu of raw and small plates, and the Josper grilled dishes.
Small plates include grilled wild red Argentinian prawns with chilli oil and Galician octopus with ajo blanco and jalapeño. Grilled seafood includes fillet of Newlyn hake, Scottish halibut and coal roasted salmon.
For the meaty dishes, there's half chickens, rib eye steaks and a selection of other beef cuts.
To wash it all down, there's a wine list and a cocktail list, as well as a beer and cider selection.
The restaurant also features a private dining room for up to 22 people and an outdoor terrace with stunning views across the river and of the Power Station.
