Fatto A Mano to open third pizzeria next month

Fatto A Mano, which means 'made by hand', is to open a third pizzeria later next month in the heart of the North Laines, Brighton.

The company launched the first branch on Brighton'sLondon Road in summer 2015 and the second site was opened in Church Road, Hove, in November 2017.

The new 50-cover site is set over two floors - ground floor and basement - and also has a few spaces to dine outside.

The pizza dough is made on site every day, proved for a minimum of 24 hours, then topped by pizzaiolos who cook every pizza in a wood fired oven at 450-plus degrees.

In the last 12 months, the firm has developed its own beer brewed in Sussex, and launched homemade gluten-free pizzas.

Rupert Davidson and Dav Sahota founded the brand, and Davidson also operates Bread & Milk cafe in Brighton. Fatto A Man was named one of the UK’s top independent pizzerias by The Guardian newspaper in 2017.
