Harry’s Bar set to open this October

Harry’s Bar, from Caprice Holdings, is a brand new all-day dining destination opening on London's James Street this October. Set in glamorous 1950s-style surroundings, the menu will feature Italian favourites from dusk until dawn, serving a slice of the ‘Dolce Vita’ in the heart of the West End.

Located a stone’s throw from Oxford Street, the restaurant and outdoor terrace can seat up to 150 guests. It will offer all-day dining for residents, professionals, visitors and shoppers; the perfect place to meet, hang out, eat and drink, any time of the day, seven days a week.

Adding to the already vibrant dining scene in St. Christopher’s Place, the menu will feature unfussy Italian dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a signature weekend brunch. A special Cicchetti menu – small plates traditionally served in Venetian Bacari bars – will also be available, and best enjoyed with drinks alfresco on the large terrace.

Inside, luxurious banquettes and bright, colourful artwork will nod to mid-century Italian glamour, inspired by its namesake, the Mayfair private members’ club that opened on South Audley Street in the 70s. Its wood panelled bar will serve exceptional Italian wines and cocktails with a twist, like the Infinite Negroni and Harry’s Limoncello Spritz.

Highlights from the all-day menu include Antipasti such as ‘Insalata Caprese’, ‘Carpaccio di Manzo’, and ‘Calamari Fritti’. A selection of Pizze will be available in a variety of flavours alongside signature pastas including ‘Harry’s Tagliolini’, ‘Linguine Vongole’ and ‘Pollo Milanese’. And, with prices starting at just £4.25 for cicchetti and £13.95 for mains, Harry’s Bar is affordable luxury in the West End.

The kitchen will be headed up by Diego Cardoso, whose creative approach, fun and flair have been delighting diners at original site, Harry’s Dolce Vita, since its opening last December. Diego brings with him extensive experience, most notably Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Italian Murano, in Mayfair.
