Homeslice opens new pizzeria in Marylebone

Homeslice has just opened a new pizzeria in Marylebone, adding to those in Covent Garden, City, Shoreditch, White City and Fitzrovia.

The design for Homeslice Marylebone has been heavily influenced by the classic 50s London café. Pastel-coloured Formica tables, solid hand-crafted walnut seating and bold tiling.

Homeslice offers its own take on the classics alongside more unique flavour combinations. The simple menu serves up wood-fired pizza, beer and wine with quality, seasonal produce at its heart.

Every ball of Homeslice dough is made in-house in small batches using high protein German 405 flour, yeast, water and salt. The mozzarella is delivered twice weekly fresh from Naples and is chosen for its fresh, sweet flavour and soft, creamy texture.

Diners can order by the slice or a whole 20-inch pizza. Toppings for whole pizzas include: Pumpkin, broccoli, pecorino & crispy onion, Kimchi, porcini cream & basil, BBQ beef brisket, pickled carrots & celery, and Spiced lamb, savoy cabbage & sumac yoghurt.

Beyond craft beer, beverages include aperol spritz, natural wines - biodynamic and organic, shots and soft drinks.

Homeslice offers eat in, to go or delivery options across its London restaurants.

Homeslice was launched in 2011 with an event at London Fields Brewery and sold out within hours. It then went to markets and festivals with Kerb, Street Feast and Frieze, which culminated in the residency at Kings Cross Filling Station in 2012. The first bricks and mortar restaurant opened in 2013 in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden.
