Award-winning Indian restaurant chain to launch in UK

Copper Chimney is set to make its UK debut at Westfeild shopping complex in Hammersmith London this autumn.

Founded in Mumbai back in1972 by JK Kapur, the award-winning Indian restaurant now operates 16 restaurants across India, with two more opening soon. There are also sites in Kuwait and Dubai.

With influences from the Undivided India, from Peshawar in the North West to India's food capital, Delhi, Copper Chimney serves a flavourful melange of its signature Indian dishes, flavours and ingredients.

Each Curry is made from scratch; each grill is marinated for multiple hours before making it onto each plate; each lentil is slow cooked; each biryani rice is individually layered with the best basmati rice, and each bread is hand-made.

Central to this process are the 'Ustads' or master Chefs of Copper Chimney. These chefs are trained and nurtured, gaining in-depth knowledge of ingredients, cooking styles and recipes handed down over three generations.

Copper Chimney will join Westfield's dining brands such as Balans, Bill's, Chi Wok, Compton Libanais, Franco Manca, Ichiba, Le Pain Quotidien, Pho and Wahaca.
