Korean Dinner Party introduces set bottomless brunch menu

From Sunday 17 October, Korean Dinner Party (KDP), the restaurant that brings a slice of LA’s Koreatown to London's Soho, will be serving a brand new set brunch menu with flowing prosecco and JINRO soju all afternoon.

Whether looking to stop in for a late breakfast, a lazy lunch or an afternoon of feasting, guests at KDP will climb the stairs at Kingly Court, ducking under the glowing signage at the top to find Korean hip hop playing, fizz being poured and the bustling open pass serving up brunch developed by Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng of TA TA Eatery and TÒU.

Guests can kick off with snacks and starters, choosing between dishes including KDP’s signature US-style Cheesy Corn Dog with mozzarella, ketchup and mustard, bitesize soft Bacon Mochi with gochujang caramel and spring onions, Chikin, chicken nuggets with garlic cream, Parmesan and rice sticks, and brand new Kimchi Fried Rice with curry sauce, garlic mayo and topped with a fried egg.

Up next are a selection of main courses that provide a nod to LA’s thriving Mexican food scene: tacos served with soft corn wraps, chili relish and asian slaw, with options of Pork Neck Al Pastor with ssamjang, KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower) with cheese ranch or Slow Cooked 48h Beef Short Rib with ssamjang.

To accompany the tacos, sides will include sweet potato Chili Chips with burger sauce and jalapeños, Spinach Banchan dressed with wasabi and sesame, and a palate-cleansing White Kimchi of Chinese cabbage, wakame, carrot and apple. To end the brunch on a sweet note, yoghurt-based soft serve ice cream will be available in daily-changing flavours.

Throughout brunch the KDP team will be on hand pouring unlimited Prosecco and, to create a Korean spin on a mimosa, topping guests up with JINRO Soju with flavours including grapefruit, green grape, plum and strawberry. The extended drinks list will feature innovative cocktails, beers, wines and craft sake from Peckham-based KANPAI, the UK’s first sake brewery.

With drinks expert Cyan Wong behind the cocktails, guests can take their pick from drinks including a Yakult Royale, with champagne, yoghurt soju and a Yakult foam, a Plum Americano, Korean plum wine blended with KANPAI’s British Japanese umeshu, a Forsynthia aperitif with peach citrus leaf, fortified wines and tea, and smoky Crystal Osmanthus Margarita.

Korean Dinner Party launched late July and comes from the team behind Señor Ceviche.
