From 1 January 2022, Giraffe restaurants in Kings Cross, Victoria, the Southbank Centre and Stanstead, Gatwick and Heathrow Airports are getting a plant-based makeover as Rebel Vegan brings diners a brand-new, limited-edition plant-based menu.
Proving that being vegan is anything but vanilla, the Rebel Vegan menu is packed with delicious options from dreamy burgers to dirty hot dogs.
For a meat-free masterpiece, there's Nashville Hot ChiQin Burger (£8.99) – a Quorn buttermilk burger with Frank’s Red Hot sauce, vegan mayo and lettuce on a craft bun, topped with Applewood ‘cheese’ sauce, a kick of Carolina Reaper sauce, onion rings and crushed chilli flakes. There's also the simple (but sensational) BBQ ChiQin and Cheese Burger (£8.49) with ‘cheese’ and BBQ sauces and battered onion rings.
Alternatively, diners can transport themselves to Cuba (without the quarantine) with the La Habana Burger (£9.45); a Beyond Burger patty coated in mango habanero sauce with burger sauce, onions, gherkins, Applewood ‘cheese’ sauce, jalapeños, a kick of Carolina Reaper sauce and fresh salsa.
Additionally, there's Moving Mountains Spicy BBQ Dog (£9.49) topped with lashings of BBQ sauce and Carolina Reaper sauce, jalapeños, pickled pink onions and crushed chilli flakes.
Sides include loaded fries and there's a range of vegan milkshakes – think peanut butter and Lotus biscuit.
The Rebel Vegan Take Over Menu is available at Giraffe from 1 January to 31 January. It's also available for delivery via @deliveroo, @justeatuk and @ubereats_uk within a 1.5-mile local radius of select Giraffe restaurants.
