Fast casual chain, Pizza Hut UK & Europe has made comment folling the release of the latest ONS figures.
Kate Vacovec, Chief Financial Officer, said, “While the ONS figures show that overall inflation has fallen, prices are continuing to rise for food and drink.
'As a global brand, Pizza Hut has been working to support its franchisees, employees, and people – but further Government support is greatly needed.'
She continued, The current economic environment is incredibly challenging for our business and sector, so we are calling on the Government to take further action and recognise the need for additional relief for the hospitality industry.
'It is only with their support that UK hospitality can better balance the multiple business costs its facing and continue delivering growth to our economy and value to customers,” Kate concluded.
