EVE, a restaurant, bar and café by White Rabbit Projects located in Ember Locke in the heart of Kensington & Chelsea is set to open next month.
Drawing inspiration from the diverse flavours and communal dining traditions of the Eastern and Southern Mediterranean, EVE's all-day menu promises to encapsulate the region's rich culinary tapestry. With a special emphasis on vegetables, grilled meats, and seafood, Executive Chef Talia Prince has curated an array of small plates, grill-centric mains, and delectable desserts.
Talia Prince, renowned for her culinary journey through esteemed kitchens such as Le Gavroche, The Fat Duck, and her own Chef Residency at Soho House White City, lends her creativity to craft unique dishes. Infused with fresh, zingy, and spicy flavours, EVE's offerings include vibrant salads, smoky skewers, and bold dressings.
This 51-cover establishment is set to welcome guests on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 10 pm, as well as Thursday through Sunday from 12 midday to 10 pm.
The EVE bar serves as an idyllic backdrop for drinks and entertainment, boasting classic cocktails and signature concoctions such as the Plum Sour with Sapling gin, St Germain, and house-made plum puree. The wine menu celebrates low intervention, organic, and biodynamic selections that align with the region's bold yet elegant wines, harmonizing effortlessly with Talia's culinary mastery.
Operating hours for the bar span Monday to Wednesday from 4 pm to 11 pm, and Thursday to Sunday from 12 pm to 11 pm.
Come mid-September, EVE will be a hub for live music on Friday evenings, curated by experience architects Black Rabbit Projects, followed by DJ performances as night descends. The bar's vicinity to Ember Locke's walled garden enables guests to spill out onto the terrace and lawn, immersing themselves in the ambiance.
Complementing the restaurant and bar, the EVE café will cater daily from 7 am to 4 pm, offering an array of pastries, cakes, juices, specialty beverages, and a daily selection of freshly prepared sandwiches.
The interior of Ember Locke, a collaboration between Atelier Ochre and House of Dré, emanates warmth and distinctive character. Embracing elements of casual and bohemian design, the space captures a melding of Art Deco influences and contemporary design, resulting in a truly captivating atmosphere.
Situated on Cromwell Road, EVE enjoys a prime location amidst a culturally rich neighbourhood, within walking distance of iconic London museums such as the Natural History Museum, the V&A, the Science Museum, and the Design Museum.
