Suzi-Mona Milne assumes role of Restaurant Manager at the Small Holding

Suzi-Mona Milne has joined the Green Michelin-starred Small Holding in Kent as the restaurant manager.

Milne, who studied Applied Linguistics at the University of Portsmouth, embarked on her hospitality journey at high street chains like Côte Brasserie. She later transitioned to a general manager position at the King's Arms in Prestbury, a 200-cover village pub and brasserie.

In 2021, she followed her passion for wine to Tofino, Canada, where she became deeply involved in the industry. Subsequently, she assumed the role of restaurant manager at the Pointe Restaurant in the Wickaninnish Inn, a prestigious Relais and Chateaux property. There, she successfully managed a team of 46 professionals.

Milne is currently in the process of completing her WSET Level 4 Diploma.

At the Small Holding, she will directly report to owners Will and Matt Devlin, assuming responsibility for day-to-day restaurant operations. Her duties will include managing budgets, overseeing recruitment, and fostering team development.

Situated in the village of Kilndown, The Small Holding is a unique establishment encompassing a kitchen, farm, and a 36-cover restaurant. Since its inception in 2018, it has been renowned for its distinctive home-grown tasting menus.

Starting next month, prices for the Full Acre (eight-course) and Half Acre (five-course) menus will be adjusted from £85 to £95 and from £65 to £75, respectively. This decision reflects the necessity to align with the 'rising prices from producers and suppliers.'
