Ed’s Easy Diner to launch BBQ & Grill in Scotland


Retro 50s restaurant chain Ed’s Easy Diner, is set to open its first diner in Scotland at the end of the month.

The new 4,000 sq ft venue will open at the Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre in Edinburgh.

The 150-cover restaurant will launch as a ‘BBQ & Grill’ which is a new brand extension of the firm, currently undergoing trials at Basingstoke.

The opening will be followed by a second venue in St Enoch’s Shopping Centre, Glasgow in November.

CEO of Ed’s Easy Diner, Andrew Guy, said, “Fort Kinnaird is the perfect location for our diner and we are so proud to be launching our first ever site in Scotland.’

‘We have plans to open at least two more Ed’s Easy Diner BBQ & Grills during 2015 in retail and leisure parks, as well as open up to 15 new Diners in shopping centres and busy high streets across the UK.”
