Coq d’Argent to launch new brunch

From 11 November, City restaurant Coq d’Argent will launch ‘Le Brunch’, a new indulgent menu available exclusively on Saturdays, with unlimited Moet et Chandon, and accompanied by a DJ and live saxophone music.

Offering stunning views of the City, Coq d’Argent is a renowned restaurant serving a classic French menu. ‘Le Brunch’ promises to put a distinctive Francophile twist on traditional brunch dishes.

The menu offers hors d’oeuvres such as Oeufs pochés Avocat (poached eggs, smashed avocado and crushed hazelnuts on toast) mixed with unusual choices like Tartare de chevreuil (Venison tartare, celeriac and green apple remoulade, fried quail’s eggs) and Terrine de cochon (Ham hock and parsley terrine, gribiche sauce, sourdough toast).

Luxurious entrées feature Gauffre au bacon (Homemade waffle, crispy streaky bacon, fried eggs, maple syrup); Faux-filet (Grilled sirloin steak, potato rosti, maitre d’ butter and fried hen’s eggs) and Moules Frites (Shetland mussels, white wine, cream and chive sauce, pommes frites).

To finish, guests can choose from a selection of decadent desserts such as Ananas et passion (Vanilla poached pineapple, mango, passion fruit espuma, mango sorbet); Fondant au chocolat (Warm dark chocolate fondant, pistachio ice cream) and Pomme Verte (Granny Smith apple parfait).

Alternatively, guests have the option to build their own bespoke benedict with a selection of toppings (saumon fumé, jambon de Bayonne or champignons) and a choice of Hollandaise sauce including classic, truffle or Nori for something truly unique.
