Pret launches new vegan treats & breakfast omelettes this autumn

On 25 September, Pret A Manger will launch new vegan sweet treats, cracking breakfast options, and Pret’s first Jam-filled Croissant.

There are also hot dishes, such as Lasagne Macaroni Cheese and Toasted Baguettes,, new Chef’s Specials, and the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte returns.

The three new chocolatey vegan and a gluten-free sweet treats are: Almond Butter Bites (pictured) - little bites of dark chocolate filled with almond butter, Almond Butter & Jam Brownie, and Dark Chocolate Salted Almonds.

Pret’s Power Omelettes are some of the most popular breakfast items in the US and they are launching in the UK for the first time. Packed with protein, customers will be able to choose between a veggie Egg White Power Omelette (23g of protein) and a Ham & Spinach Power Omelette (34.4g of protein).

Hannah Dolan, Head of Food Development at Pret, commented, “Our almond butter snacks are some of the most popular new items at Pret – our Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter cookie (the vegan cookie) has had a big thumbs up from our customers. We’re excited to introduce more chocolatey and almond butter vegan snacks, as well as a gluten-free Almond Butter & Jam Brownie, alongside a variety of new products.

'We’re also bringing back the Bang Bang Chicken Wrap (a limited-edition Chef’s Special that was available in the summer) following calls, emails and tweets from customers asking for its return.”
