Rocket to deliver catering to F1 team globally

Rocket, the family-run catering company specialising in luxury events and bespoke catering contracts, has announced that it is partnering with the F1 team, Racing Point to deliver their hospitality globally.

F1 is part of Rocket’s DNA and keeps it close to its heart. Prior to founding Rocket, co-founder Caroline Hall spent four years working for Ferrari. During this time Caroline cooked and provided hospitality for many of the great names in Formula One paddock, fuelling the likes of Michael Schumacher, Ross Braun, Eddie Irvine and Sylvester Stallone.

During her time at Ferrari in particular, Hall immersed herself in Italian cooking and has a little black book of “mamma’s home recipes” handed down by the Italian mechanics themselves.

The high-octane environment, paired with the great team spirit and high levels of performance forged Caroline’s approach when she started Rocket, in 2000 with her brother, Michael Symonds.

Rocket has also partnered with Mercedes providing for hospitality globally for the team for the duration of five years. Racing Point and Rocket have partnered over the same values and team principles that every person matters and is equally important to the overall functions of the business.

Rocket has recruited and handpicked international hospitality experts with six different spoken languages between them and a team of talented chefs to deliver 6-star hospitality. Rocket will be delivering delicious menus to cater for the racing team, sponsors and VIP guests.

Rocket’s design and logistics team have sourced five pop-up hospitality units including fully equipped kitchens, tableware, floral designs specially integrated for the mechanic’s garage area as well as built to be delivered around the world.

Highlights of the 21 events will include Mexico, Australia, Canada, Monaco and Silverstone in July. Rocket is looking forward to discovering the unique flavours and high-end ingredients available at each destination and working them into each bespoke menu, ensuring that their motto 'think global, source local' is carried out at every location.

Racing Point will be fuelled with great British classics, freshly made smoothies, delightful poke bowls and the best pasta on the paddock.

To ensure the team always feels at home, no details will be spared; ketchup, marmalade, breakfast cereal, English breakfast tea and marmite have all been specially packed. VIP guests will be able to choose from a daily menu keeping house classics such as their very own Racing Point Club Sandwich and a Chicken Salad.
