Trailblazers of fruit cider, Brothers is set to bolster its unique flavour credentials with the launch of industry firsts, Parma Violet and Strawberries & Cream.
With fruit cider experiencing 14% growth in the on-trade, Brothers’ latest innovations will allow operators to capitalise on the category’s growing popularity, specifically amongst 18 to 34-year-olds who make up over 50% of fruit cider drinkers.
With an ABV of 4%, Strawberries & Cream is a delicious combination of fruity strawberry flavours with creamy vanilla tones, whilst Parma Violet is a delicate flavour of sweet violets with a subtle hint of floral notes. An English, premium cider, both variants are available for the on-trade in 330ml and 500ml bottles.
As 22% of fruit cider drinkers claim new flavours are a key factor in their buying decision, these unique entrants will focus on driving sales growth in the category.
The new flavours form part of the Brothers brand evolution which includes a refreshed label design and continued commitment to add value through creative flavours. Brand volumes grew by 30% in 2018 and these developments will continue that momentum with Brothers at the forefront of the category as one of the leading and most interesting brands.
