Warwick Hotels & Resorts acquires first London hotels

Warwick Hotels and Resorts has acquired The Capital and The Levin hotels, the firm's first two hotels in London.

The US-based group has recently acquired The Capital Hotel, a 49-bedroom, five-star rating property in Knightsbridge. Warwick has also purchased The Levin Hotel which is the 12-bedroom neighbouring hotel.

The two hotels will be the first properties in London for the Warwick Hotels and Resorts. The group was founded in 1980, by Mr. Richard Chiu, with the acquisition of the Warwick New York. Today, the Warwick Hotels and Resorts own more than 55 hotels worldwide.

David Levin, founder of The Capital Hotel, will become a consultant to Richard Chiu, and his daughter Kate will continue in her role as general manager.
