Fonab Castle Hotel & Spa has officially declared the appointment of Peter Walker FIH as their latest General Manager. With an impressive twenty-five years of industry expertise, Walker assumes leadership at the luxurious castle hotel, having previously served at several renowned hotels in the northeast of Scotland.
A distinguished Master Innholder, a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, and a dedicated Hospitality Action Ambassador, Walker stands as a pillar in the industry. With these esteemed accolades, he endeavors to propel Fonab Castle to new heights, solidifying its position as one of Scotland's most cherished five-star hotels.
Before assuming his role at Fonab Castle, Peter Walker served as the Managing Director of Maryculter House in Aberdeen for over five years. During his tenure, he achieved remarkable outcomes in employee engagement, guest satisfaction, and revenue expansion at one of the nation's most historic hotels. Prior to this, Walker held positions at Ardoe House, Marcliffe Hotel & Spa, and Meldrum Country House Hotel & Golf Club, where he effectively spearheaded the hotel's repositioning efforts.
