Food by Dish serves up nutritious yoga breakfast at Banqueting House

Banqueting House, one of the six venues cared for by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces, has welcomed 30 event industry professionals to the third annual yoga breakfast in the Main Hall.

The occasion offered venue finders, agents and existing clients the unique opportunity to relax under Sir Peter Paul Rubens’ stunning canvas-painted ceiling for a 30-minute yoga session, followed by a networking breakfast courtesy of Food by Dish.

Food by Dish kicked off a nutritious feast shots of fresh smoothies on arrival. Guests were able to build their own breakfast bagels with a selection of smoked salmon, cream cheese, avocado and bacon or enjoy a healthy granola pot with fresh yogurt and raspberry puree.

Also on offer were fresh fruit skewers with a mango dip with a selection of juices, teas and coffees. Guests were given a box of orange macaroons as a thank you, from Historic Royal Palaces and Food by Dish, to share with their colleagues.

Celebrating the space, which has recently reopened after a renovation, the yoga instructor designed a sequence to showcase Rubens’ artwork. The session, named #RelaxUnderRubens, focused on a series of calming postures giving guests a peaceful moment to help alleviate any stress and rejuvenate, before networking with like-minded experts and going on with their busy days.
