Cook set to expand with six new outlets planned

Upmarket ready meals producer, Cook is looking to expand its chain of 85 ready meal stores with six new sites.

The company was founded in 1997 by Edward Perry and Dale Penfold with the idea of trying to cook and sell frozen ready meals that would be made like people would at home.

Cook produces ready meals which are prepared by hand by a team of chefs at its Kitchen in Sittingbourne, Kent. They never put additives or preservatives into the food.

The company offers a full range of frozen ready meals, entertaining food, puddings and cakes. It also supplies a range of independent farm shops across the UK.
