Kent-based Cook is creating more than 100 jobs following a £2m investment at its premium handmade ready meals and desserts factories in Kent and Somerset.
The investment will see the company double its output to 500,000 savoury products per week at one factory and the dessert site will be rebuilt to produce 20,000 items per week.
Cook, which was was formed in 1997, employs 500 staff and turnovers £42m per annum. The firm now sells its products at 70 outlets across the UK as well as at concessions and franchises.
