Based in Derbyshire, MPS Care Group operates 13 care homes across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Offering a modern approach to care, MPS staff respect the need for independence, and with encouragement and support encourage residents to maintain as much of this as possible.

MPS Care Group’s decision to partner with apetito is part of a programme of improvement across all the homes. The quality and consistency of the meals across the group had previously varied greatly and apetito represented an opportunity to ensure all residents in all homes were being served great food every day.

The added benefit of knowing the nutritional content in every meal combined with IDDSI compliant texture-modified foods ensure each resident can dine well every day.

Apetito already launched its dining experience into six of the 13 homes, with the remaining homes coming on board over the next few weeks.

Andy Lowe, Care Homes Division Manager for Apetito, said, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with MPS Care Group. The group aligns itself with many of the values we hold here at apetito.

'MPS Care Group provides a level of service which puts the resident at the centre, an idea at the heart of what we do. This partnership will see us grow our offering even further across the UK, cementing our place as the leader in creating better dining experiences for residents.”

Joel Gray, MPS Care Group’s CEO, commented, “Providing the highest quality to our residents is paramount to our business, the partnership with a market leader such as Apetito reaffirms our commitment to enhancing our residents experience within our Homes.

'The implementation of the food and equipment has been well received across the Homes currently on-boarded, the roll out has been smooth and we are delighted with the progress to date.'
