South African-inspired restaurant opens in SW15

Kudu, a new South African-style restaurant, has officially opened today on Queen’s Road in London's Peckham, SE15.

The opening comes from Amy Corbin, Chris Corbin's daughter (The Wolseley, The Delaunay) and her partner and chef Patrick Williams.

The restaurant, which comes with its own ‘orangerie’, offers a menu of traditional dishes created with a modern twist.

Dishes include Pig’s Head Tortellini with mushroom & hay broth & crispy onions, and Braai (barbecue) Lamb Neck with smoked yoghurt, lettuce & brussel tops (pictured). There's also mussel potjie pot (a traditional South African cooking pot), which comes with seaweed gnocchi.

For sweet treats there's chocolate mousse with mint ice cream & peppermint crisp, and pumpkin tart, plus a cheese option.
