Seven Dials Market in London's WC2 will be swinging its doors open from tomorrow, Friday 7 August, the first of London’s major food halls to reopen post-lockdown.
After closing in March, founder Petra Barran and the KERB team are delighted to get the wheels turning again at their only indoor food hall. On the menu will be all the signature dishes SDM fans have come to know and love, served up under that beautiful glass atrium.
After months of home-cooked dinners and luke-warm Deliveroos, all those street food classics, fresh off the griddle, are going to be tasting better than ever.
Returning to Seven Dials Market will be seven independent stalwarts - each with their own lockdown journeys to tell. LINE-UP: Pick & Cheese, Club Mexicana, Nanban, Yum Bun, Strozzapreti, Truffle, and El Pollote.
Diners can get reacquainted with the market’s most stand-out dishes, like Nanban’s extraordinary dry lamb curry ramen, and Truffle Burger, fresh off their phenomenal meal kit stint.
There’s some let’s-get-back-out-there offers on the table too for Mondays - including all-you-can-eat British cheese from rotating cheese bar, Pick & Cheese for just £20 p/p, and the Yum Bun yum cha, where for £20diners get a ‘picnic’ of Yum Bun classics to share at their table.
Seven Dials Market has adapted to allow for bookings, cashless orders via click & collect, all-new table service, bright pink sanitising stations to match their bright pink lift and spacious table seating - all with the goal of sticking to the relaxed and lovable KERB atmosphere diners have sought refuge in since they opened last September.
KERB launched its Street Food Census of 2020 (Pt II) this month, consulting London’s food fans on their hunger for the return of dining out in the city.
The customer survey (with more than 1000 respondents) revealed that over 40% of Londoners were eager to visit Central London to eat out, claiming they miss being in the city, and 70% saying they are fully behind supporting independent food & drink businesses right now.
There are new opening times - Friday nights (5pm-10pm), all day Saturday (12pm-10pm), Sunday (12pm-6pm) and Monday all-day (12pm-10pm) throughout August. To secure a spot book a table today on ResDiary. There will be a number of walk-ins also available.
