Iconic Luxury Hotels has promoted Francisco Macedo to the newly established position of Senior Vice President of Asset Management, Iconic Luxury Hotels – International, in anticipation of the upcoming launch of the Palm House Hotel in Florida.
Macedo currently serves as the General Manager of Cliveden House in the UK and the Group Operations Director of Iconic Luxury Hotels.
Announcing the promotion, Iconic Luxury Hotels’ executive director, Andrew Stembridge said: “With the current expansion of the Iconic Luxury Hotels portfolio internationally in Venice and later this year in Miami Florida, Francisco’s role will be pivotal to our future development plans. However, he will also remain central to our UK operations, continuing to oversee Cliveden House and forming part of our Executive Team.
“This key role underlines our appetite to grow Iconic Luxury Hotels through acquisition and management contracts both internationally and closer to home, and we are lucky to have the opportunity to recognise Francisco’s skills and expertise in this new appointment.”
Macedo said: “I am honored to take on this new role. This is an exciting time for our collection as we expand our footprint with the integration of the Hotel Excelsior, Venice and the upcoming opening of the Palm House Hotel, Florida. My focus will be on ensuring these properties uphold the exceptional service and operational standards that define the Iconic Luxury Hotels experience. I am committed to supporting our growth internationally and look forward to the opportunities ahead.”
