Bidfood names its first culinary director


Wholesaler Bidfood has appointed food innovation manager Martin Eshelby (pictured) as its first-ever culinary director.

In this newly created role, Eshelby will lead partnerships with manufacturing brands and drive product innovation across the business.

Nicola Holden, director of sales at Bidfood said: “Martin’s passion, creativity, and deep understanding of our customers’ evolving challenges make him the ideal person to lead our culinary direction.

“During his time at Bidfood, Martin has demonstrated that he is among the best in the industry, seamlessly bridging his creative flair for food together with the needs of our customers. Over the past decade, Eshelby has led Bidfood’s recipe development and delivered sector-specific culinary solutions.

This appointment is intended to enhance the wholesaler’s culinary expertise and reinforce its position as a leading provider of foodservice solutions.

Eshelby brings a wealth of culinary experience to the role and will help strengthen the supplier’s key relationships.
