Founder of Chew-On-This restaurant group, Ellen Chew has opened a third Mrs Chew’s Chinese Kitchen in Bicester Village, following the success in shopping destinations London’s Westfield White City and Birmingham’s Grand Central.
Mrs Chew’s Chinese Kitchen is a vibrant concept that showcases unpretentious and authentic Chinese food that’s prepared from scratch every day. With a focus on fresh ingredients and time-honoured recipes, each outlet offers affordable and nutritious culinary favourites from Asia.
The new Mrs Chew’s Chinese Kitchen in Bicester Village is a large kiosk space featuring 50 covers in a sheltered outdoor area, serving up delicious, easy-to-eat, halal Chinese cuisine.
The previous iterations have been all about delivering good quality halal food in a fast and efficient environment with a lot of theatre for a quick fix unique sensory experience. This smaller kiosk will serve a paired-back offering of the full menu, with a focus on keeping the quality at the highest standards whilst serving customers quickly. Menu highlights include:

Chicken Char Siu Buns
Steamed soft and light bun stuffed with chicken Char Siu.
Sichuan Chilli Oil Wontons
Homemade chicken and prawn wontons in a tantalising black vinegar and chilli oil sauce.
Siu Mai
Traditional open-faced chicken dumplings.
Mains:
2 Day Dry-Aged Cantonese Roast Duck Rice
Marinated with Mrs Chew’s secret recipe, dry-aged and roasted fresh on-site every day to perfection. Served with jasmine rice or noodles.
Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles
Handmade noodles tossed in a mala (spicy numbing) sesame chilli sauce, topped with minced chicken, cucumber, and peanuts.
The design of Mrs Chew’s Chinese Kitchen bursts with energy with highlights that refer back to Ellen’s upbringing. As a nod to Ellen’s Singaporean and Chinese heritage, the site showcases red Ping Pong bats above the counter and eye-catching Maneki-Neko lucky waving cats on the back wall which hold a special meaning of happiness, purity and positive things to come.
The third outpost is located in Bicester Villages’ Unit 82 - 83 Pingle Drive.
