The largest UK fast-casual Mexican restaurant group, Tortilla has opened its 22nd restaurant situated in London's Swiss Cottage on Finchley Road.
The award-winning brand, which was founded in 2007, offers a range of California-style Mexican food, and and has just launched an evening menu.
Richard Morris, managing director of Tortilla, commented, “This begins a long line of openings for us this year in some exciting locations around the country.”
Founder Brandon Stephens moved to London from California in 2003 to pursue his MBA at London Business School, where he wrote the business plan for Tortilla.
Stephens said, “I grew up eating healthy, affordable burritos in California and I just couldn’t find anything like it over here. As the concept evolved, it increasingly became evident that there was a strong market for fresh, affordable burritos and tacos.”
