Rosa’s Thai Cafe secures £1.8m for three new sites

London restaurant chain, Rosa’s Thai Cafe is set for further expansion this year following a £1.8m funding deal with Santander Corporate & Commercial.

The group, which operates six eateries, is set to open three new sites across central London creating 100 jobs. The first new site will open in Victoria this April, followed by outlets in Shoreditch and Brixton.

The brand was launched in the UK via a Brick Lane market stall in 2006 by Alex and Saiphin Moore. The pair had sold a successful Thai restaurant in Hong Kong and relocated to Britain.

Rosa’s dishes are created with ingredients sourced as locally as possible, and includes venison, soft-shell crab and seasonal curries.
