Welcome Break has opened the first Ed’s Easy Diner site at any motorway station, at the South Mimms service station located at J23 of the M25 near Potters Bar.
The UK’s leading independent motorway services operator has invested around £1m in the refurbishment of the Ed's Easy Diner site, which offers tabel service and has created 29 jobs.
Welcome Break CEO, Rod McKie said, “Since we announced Welcome Break’s partnership with Ed’s Easy Diner I have been looking forward to welcoming our customers to this new roadside dining experience.
'In recent years we have noticed a growing trend with our customers, who tend to enjoy more dwell time at our service stations, and we wanted to offer them a new dining experience that allowed them to do this.
'I am so excited to finally open the doors to Ed’s Easy Diner to our South Mimms customers, and we hope they enjoy the great quality food and American-style diner experience.”
