Green & Fortune launches Sea Containers Events venue


Award-winning hospitality company, Green & Fortune is launching a new London event venue. Sea Containers Events is housed in the iconic South Bank located Sea Containers building.

Situated on the 12th and 13th floors, at the pinnacle of the building, each space offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking some of London's most impressive river and cityscape views. Made up of over 25,000 sq ft, Sea Containers Events provides some of the best show spaces for brand profiling, employee engagement or client entertaining, with modernist interior design echoing today's laid back, collaborative style of meetings and events.

Sea Containers Events offers six spaces capable of hosting numbers from 10 to 150 for dinner, cocktail receptions for 250 and exclusive hire available on application for larger events. Spaces include a design-led amphitheatre for up to 200 participants, a private dining room with balcony overlooking St. Paul’s Cathedral and a roof terrace for up to 150 guests.

The 12th floor (pictured) includes a large blank canvas space, featuring show-stopping views and a private balcony overlooking the Thames, which can also be divided into four smaller spaces to boast greater flexibility.

Food and drink sees an emphasis placed on seasonality and provenance with sourcing from independent suppliers while menus draw on global food trends; from flavour fusions and food stalls to more formal seated dinner menus. A spirited yet attentive service culture has been adopted and reinforces Green & Fortune’s fresh approach to business entertaining.

With individuality the order of the day, the on-site baker creates afternoon cakes, biscuits and other sweet treats which can also be taken away by delegates and guests. Cocktails too can be designed by the in-house mixologist, specifically to embody client branding or reinforce key messaging.

Sea Containers Events is a new addition to Green & Fortune’s award winning portfolio of event spaces which includes Kings Place Events; winner of ‘Best Catering at a Venue’ at the 2016 London Venue Awards, as well as previous winners of the Event Awards, Foodservice Cateys and finalist in the C&IT Awards.
