Irish forecourt retailer, Applegreen has acquired six UK service areas and one petrol filling station from the Carsley Group in a £21m deal.
The deal will be funded from existing company resources and is expected to be completed
Applegreen's CEO Bob Etchingham said, “This transaction will accelerate our strategy to establish a major service area presence in the UK market, complementing our strong position in Ireland and growing footprint in the United States.'
In July this year, the Irish forecourt retailer acquired 42 sites in South Carolina in the US. Thirty-four of which are filling stations and the rest are standalone Burger King outlets.
