Soho Coffee Co opens 40th outlet

Owner-managed, independent, artisan coffee brand Soho Coffee Co is continuing its rapid expansion, with the opening of its 40th store to date.

Opening today, the store on Gresham Street in the heart of the Capital is the brand’s ninth store opening so far this year, and the ninth site to open in central London. The brand is aiming for a double-figure expansion year-on-year.

The Gresham Street Store will build on the unrivalled success of the brand’s expansion into London, which has established a cult following for many of their stores, across a diverse target audience.

The individual store teams, led by passionate managers, have worked hard to establish genuine, individual relationships with customers; something which is difficult for larger chains to replicate.

Penny Manuel, Managing Director of SOHO Coffee Co. commented, “We are delighted to open our 40th SOHO store; this is exactly what our dedicated team has been working so hard for!

'Achieving such rapid growth, without compromise to our training, staff or renowned food and drink offering has been essential, but fully accomplished, and I am so proud of everyone.

'Every day our customers take the time to send us feedback on what we do, and one of the frequent compliments is for the attitude, approachability and hospitality of our teams in stores. Here’s to the next 40 SOHO’s!”

The brand has already opened outlets in Cheltenham and Birmingham this year, alongside Baker Street, O2 Centre, Austin Friars, Kingsway, Grosvenor Street and Aldwych in London, since January.
