Nandos launches home delivery service at 34 outlets

The Nando's chain has launched its own delivery service trial in the UK at 34 of its casual dining outlets, and is available in several cities including Manchester and Middlesbrough.

The firm has teamed up with numerous third-party delivery companies to launch the trial and is charging £2.50 for delivery. Orders need to be £15 and over otherwise an extra £2 will be charged. The service excludes frozen products and alcoholic drinks.

Nando's takeaway option has been with us for some time but this still means customers having to pick the order up at their closest branch.

The brand also offers a delivery option in partnership with Deliveroo in some parts of the country, but this new service will potentially bring delivery to more parts of the UK.

The move comes after McDonald's announced home dleivery in June, a service the fast food giant launched with UberEATS.

Also, Greggs revealed last month that it's trialling a home delivery service in Newcastle, and rolling out drive-thrus across the country, following a successful trial in Manchester.
