£1.6m Banyan Bar & Kitchen to open at Spinningfields

Arc Inspirations is to open a Banyan Bar & Kitchen at Spinningfields in Manchester this summer, with plans to invest £1.6m in the site.

This will be the eighth branch for the brand - and the 16th for the whole estate, which will cover 7,000 sq ft, and offer 230 covers, creating 50 jobs.

The new Spinningfields bar will be open seven days a week, with extended opening hours until 2am. The new site will have a sophisticated new look thanks to an innovative detailed design from architects KPP, in collaboration with leading hospitality design studio, NoChintz.

Arc Inspirations is also investing £1.8m in a new site for its Manahatta concept in Manchester, which will create a 230-cover bar and restaurant in the grade II-listed Royal London House in Deansgate, creating 60 full- and part-time jobs.

CEO Martin Wolstencroft said that the success of the Banyan Bar & Kitchen at Corn Exchange, and increased demand for the brand, has meant Arc can branch Banyan across the north of England and beyond.
