Meantime To Quadruple Production Capacity

London based Meantime Brewing Company has revealed plans to expand its brewery in Greenwich, quadrupling production capacity. The expansion will also involve the creation of a brand new visitor centre and shop, making it the largest craft brewery in London. The vast expansion will lift Meantime Brewing Company’s capacity from its current 25,000 hectolitres per year to over 100,000 hectolitres annually. Thus meaning the brewery will then be able to produce over 1.5 million pints every month across its range of keg and bottled beers. The changes are expected to be completed in May 2012, with the new visitor centre fully open in time for the London Olympics. The centre will also host beer and food matching events in an aim to give consumers a taste for beer which then partners well will with food
