Ei Publican Partnerships joins forces with Hobgoblin this Halloween

Ei Publican Partnerships is celebrating the season of mischief by partnering with Hobgoblin, the unofficial beer of Halloween, in scores of pubs across the country.

Ei is teaming up with Hobgoblin with an exclusive ‘Come to the Dark’ (https://cometothedark.co.uk/) pub finder website, which enables consumers to find their nearest local pub stocking Hobgoblin and enjoy a pint during the Halloween period.

Consumers will be given the opportunity to win great Hobgoblin prizes by sharing the location of their local pub via Facebook. Prizes up for grabs include Wychwood Brewery tour tickets, mini kegs, T-shirts, glassware and a private brewery tour for 15 people. There is also a link to an online game with the chance to win up to £5k in cash.

Ei Publican Partnerships publicans who purchase Hobgoblin during October will feature on the webpage for free. In addition, any pubs purchasing two 9-gallon barrels of Hobgoblin or Hobgoblin Gold will receive a special Halloween edition pump clip and free glassware from the brewery (whilst stocks last).

Paul Harbottle, Group Commercial Director at Ei Group, said: “Halloween is a key trading occasion for pubs so to team up with Hobgoblin during this busy period offers something different and hopefully drives increased footfall. Hobgoblin is a great brand with a loyal following so for our pubs stocking the beer over the Halloween season it provides a real opportunity to boost sales and attract new customers.

Alexander Harrison, Brand Manager at Marston’s, who own Wychwood Brewery, added: “It’s fantastic to join forces with Ei Publican Partnerships on this initiative to make the most of the trading opportunity Halloween offers publicans. Halloween continues to grow in popularity and having a beer like Hobgoblin on the bar can really capture the spirit of the season for drinkers.”
