Wilson Vales appoints new general manager of operations

Wilson Vale has promoted Renier Oberholzer to general manager of operations to support its growing catering business.

Oberholzer first joined the independent caterers in 2015 as a chef manger and was promoted to account operations manager at the Royal College of Nursing in April 2017.

This latest promotion is an operational role which sees Oberholzer work alongside three other Wilson Vale general managers to lead their operational teams across 95 diverse catering sites.

Oberholzer said, “My new role is far reaching, encompassing everything from project management and facilities to training & development, succession planning and resource planning, as well as managing the logistics of a multi-restaurant catering operation, driving quality standards and keeping our teams motivated and fulfilled and clients happy.”
