Wandsworth-based recipe box company, Mindful Chef has announced a £6m investment deal from Piper Private Equity.
The company said, 'As experts in fast-growing consumer brands, we couldn't think of a better partner for the next stage of our journey.'
The £6m cash boost will enable the business to grow its customer base in the UK, helping it to capitalise on the expanding recipe box market, which is forecast to double over the next 10 years.
The firm added, 'Since launching in 2015 we've grown to be rated the UK's number one recipe box on Trustpilot with an ARR of £15m and are extremely proud to have donated 770,000 meals to children living in poverty.'
Since its launch it has grown rapidly, with a 178% in sales in the past year, delivering nearly two million meals to UK consumers, with annualised sales of £10m, employing 27 people.
