Aqua to open restaurant, cafe, deli & dim sum in Fitzrovia

Aqua London is to open a new restaurant, cafe and delicatessen on London's Great Portland Street in Fitzrovia.

There will be an 80-coverJapanese restaurant, a 72-cover cafe, a 14-cover Spanish deli, as well as a 68-cover Dim Sum Library.

The new venture will replace Villandry, the all-day cafe, which went into administration last summer.

The restaurant brand was given permission by Westminster City Council to transform the ground floor and basement of 120 Great Portland Street.

The new site will join the brand's venture on Argyle Street, which offers Aqua Kyoto (Japanese cuisine and coctails), Aqua Nueva (contemporary Spanish restaurant), and cocktail bar, Aqua Spirit, that comes with DJ's every weekend and outdoor terraces.

The company also has dining concepts at The Shard - Aqua Shard and Hutong.

Beyond the UK, the group operates its Dim Sum Library concept in Hong Kong.
