Sainsbury's is working with The Restaurant Group's TRG Concessions to test new food-to-go concession concepts in a number of stores.
Grains & Greens has launched in Sainsbury’s Merton, Heyford Hill and Springfield supermarkets. The Grains & Greens range includes wraps, salads, power pots, hot dahls and chillis. Both brands offer fully customisable options for now and for later.
Also, Mezze Box counters are being trialled in Sainsbury’s Richmond, Walton-On-Thames and Clapham Common supermarkets. The Mezze Box range is inspired by authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and includes fresh salads, mezze boxes, pitta/dip selections, tagines and hot wraps.
The partnership with TRG Concessions will bring TRG’s considerable experience in developing food and drink brands for high footfall locations to offer innovative and exciting in-store cuisines for customers to enjoy on the go, or later in the day with family and friends
