There were Gold awards and other success for a number of Samworth Brothers brands at the British Pie Awards.
Walker & Son achieved three Golds, six Silvers and seven Bronze awards including a Class Champion for the Dickinson & Morris Melton Mowbray Pork pie (454g) Pork pie.
Ginsters were also awarded Golds for the Ginsters Cornish Handcrafted Chicken, Chorizo and Cornish Gouda Pasty and the Ginsters Moroccan Vegetable Pasty, a Silver award for the Ginsters Handcrafted Cornish Pasty and a Bronze award for the Ginsters Cheese and Onion Pasty.
There were also Golds for the West Cornwall Pasty Co. for its Traditional Cornish Pasty and its Greek Feta and Garden Vegetables Pasty, plus Silver awards for its Vegan Green Thai Pasty and Spicy Chilli Beef Pasty, and a further Bronze award for its Greek Feta and Garden Vegetables Pasty.
